ENGAGING REELS

Movies, Poems, Songs

The built-in search engine (magnifying glass icon) may allow you to reach any type of desired term and mnemonic learning can be conducted fairly well due to pioneering design.

Developing Terminology

Innovative design

Appealing layout and context will inspire you to acquire new words, grammatical structures, and phrases as well as key terms.

New Bundles

Ever growing dictionary

(Tens) of thousands of words and phrases, each of which we (will) have thoroughly detected, also appeal to the beginner levels.

Stories for Key Terms

Mind palaces

Fantastic narratives revolve around the laws of physics to etch the key terms into memory at an unprecedented pace.

Expedition into TOEFL

Fun & competitive

User-friendly interface with highly refined themes should reduce the study time by a quarter.

Multimedia

Artistic quality

Practice with tailored “Movie” scenes, two different voice artists who performed for “Listening” article & “Lyric” poems, songs, “Illustration” visuals, “Go Live” educational YouTube videos, “Phrase” GIFs, “Origin” Key Terms’ Frequency Graph, “Newspaper” excerpts, and “Book” covers.

MEANING

It’s not about understanding its definition, but knowing how to use it in daily life. The welcoming page of the bundle introduces a short definition with a notable explanatory passage. For each main key term (bundle), we start with 4 synonyms / 4 antonyms (of which we pick 2 / 1 to showcase actively), and 3 phrases.

THESAURUS

Here, we make several match-ups between key terms. The comparative nature of this section will permit the user to picture the usage area of the subjects better. The phrasal key terms are included in at least 3 of our 12 sentences. Learning synonyms and antonyms stimulates cognitive development. Since you compare different words and understand their relative meanings, you think analytically.

MNEMON

Incomparable short stories will leave an indelible impression with their key terms. The surreal narratives centered around two physical objects challenge the bounds of imagination to engrave keywords into memory at an exceptional speed. The auditory resonance helps anchor the new word more robustly in the learner’s memory.

PHRASE

We focus on phrases, which were introduced in the “MEANING” section. After the interpretive paragraph, 3 sentences are offered for each phrase. Thus, we have 9 examples in total, including the main key term, 2 synonyms, 1 antonym or/and their variations.

ORIGIN

The origins/historical context of the main key term, a graphical representation depicting its usage frequency over time, and the data on how many pages a particular form of the word appears help recognize the word’s phonetic structure, its sound patterns, and how it is used in various contexts.

CULTURE

Emotions, thoughts, judgements and any kind of subjective expressions are appreciated in this section. You will be exposed to the colloquial language and interiorize the key terms’ daily use.

POLITY

“Is the honourable gentleman aware that, when he lauds indirect taxation, he lauds a system of taxation which, in relative terms, hits the poor hardest?”
It is easily understandable, concise, and eloquent. You can easily imagine an MP asking this question with a reproachful expression on his face.

BULLETIN

Taking a small passage from a news report is quite tricky. We try our level best to not overwhelm the student with unnecessary details or information, so the text is clipped accordingly. Our databases also permit searching with more than one key term.

LYRIC

Poems, poets, voiceovers, songs, and artists are all for our key terms. The human brain is more likely to remember information that is connected to real-life experiences. If we understand how a word is used in a song, poem, or TV show, we are more inclined to recall that word because it is linked to an existing memory.

NEWSPAPER

The main and subkey terms are aimed to be taught in as many ways as possible by a pioneering approach to each section. Newspapers serve our purpose indescribably. We try to provide all forms of the core key terms just like in the “GO LIVE” section.

BOOK

The titles found on book covers hasten the nuances sink in. Words are not used in a vacuum; they carry cultural connotations and historical contexts. When we learn how words are used in different societies, we gain insights into these cultures.

ILLUSTRATION

Visual aids not only enhance vocabulary acquisition but also cater to various learning styles, accommodating those who thrive on visual stimuli. Illustrations can help bridge language barriers, making it easier for individuals of different linguistic backgrounds to grasp the meaning of a word.

MOVIE

Movie scenes and the subtitles are arranged in varying lengths to provide the best context for our key terms. Films offer a multi-sensory experience that leverages visual, auditory, and emotional cues to enhance our language learning and vocabulary retention, making them an invaluable resource for learners of all levels.

GO LIVE

YouTube educational videos and TEDx talks cater to fast, unbiased answers about how English is spoken by real people and in context. Videos, created by language experts and enthusiasts, aid learners in connecting words to their meanings through vivid mental associations, often featuring engaging visuals, animations, and clear explanations. Many educators on YouTube employ mnemonic devices like rhymes, alliteration, and storytelling to create memorable word associations.

LISTENING

Captivating articles help to develop familiarity with the formal use of grammatical structures. The main key term or one of its forms must be included in the title. Its own unique characteristic can ameliorate the student’s reading, listening, and writing skills. Some of the high-level terms, that will be helpful for students who prepare for English proficiency exams like TOEFL and IELTS, are marked and later given their two synonyms; and all definitions along with the core key terms in the “DEFINITIONS” section.

DEFINITIONS

Where you will find all the definitions of all key terms handled in the bundle.

QUOTE

Worldwide famous figures are cited including politicians, historians, authors, philosophers, etc. The student’s intellect is intended to be addressed with haunting aphorisms to make learning new terms and sentence patterns easier. When we encounter a new word or phrase within a well-crafted quote, it’s like discovering a gem within a treasure chest. The context embeds it in our memory through vivid storytelling. Memorable quotes often resonate emotionally, forging a deeper connection between the word and our own experiences.
